Our unique burglar preventing products
The Vectis Plus lock represents the future of door security. No euro cylinder means the Vectis Plus is a multi-point lock free from cylinder manipulation, breaking/snapping and plug extraction. The Vectis lock has been designed to overcome the associated problems with cylinders by instead using levers from traditional and trusted mortice locks with anti-jemmy multiple locking points along the whole face of the door. Approved by Secured By Design, the Vectis lock uses a traditional mortice key and bespoke handle to solution to provide the complete next generation of door lock and is the way the industry is moving forward to combat the new wave of burglar.
The Vectis locking system is available as standard on our Homesafe Composite doors (link to website and supplier list) and is backed by our Saracen Secure Guarantee Scheme. The long established Saracen Secure scheme gives you the confidence that all Homesafe doors fitted with the Vectis multi-point lock are guarantee against forced entry. Giving you peace of mind that in the unlikely event of forced entry within 5 years, the Vectis secured door will be repaired/ replaced up to a value of £500, with an additional £500 paid in compensation direct to you. So you really feel like you’re home, safe home.
We also offer a range of high security handles for those people who wish to improve the security of doors fitted with a multi-point door lock and the vulnerable profile cylinder that can be subject to attack.
The Lockguard handle has been designed as a retro-fit handle to upgrade existing doors or new doors requiring the same level of protection. Shielding the cylinder in a strong armoured steel cage with anti-drill door fixings prevents access to the cylinder; giving protection against cylinder snapping, cylinder pull and cylinder drilling; which are common problems associated with profile cylinders.
Lockguard also has a unique integral Lift & Lock mechanism making it visually easier to see when the door is locked. Lifting the internal handle throws the multi-locking points in a single movement; the handle then stays in the raised position to indicate the door is locked, so users can be confident that their door is secure. Locking the door internally prevents the external handle from moving defying access to anyone wishes to enter the property. In an emergency the door is simply opened by releasing the handle trigger to allow a quick means of escape without hunting for keys. Secured By Design approved and successfully tested to the latest security standard PAS 024.
In addition, the Security Handle is the latest innovation from grouphomesafe. Manufactured from solid aluminium extrusion for strength and resistance against attack, the Samson’s unique design protects the door cylinder. Successfully tested to the latest security standards, the handle shields the cylinder behind the backplate keyhole giving access only to the key slot. The unique profile of the backplate ensures the attacker cannot grip the handle backplate using the prescribed tools of British Standards tests. Used with a Kitemarked cylinder the door lock is protected against snapping, bumping and other methods of manipulation to gain illegal entry.
One of the newest launches in the door industry is biometric intelligent locking, which allows you to leave the house without the need to remember a bunch of keys!! The innovative ilock allows you to gain access to your property using fingerprint recognition or digital pin code entry. British Kitemark tested and Secured By Design, the handle can be retrofitted to an existing lock within minutes. The handle allows you to programme multiple codes or fingerprints into the system for access for all the family, and the clever system also gives you the opportunity to programme visitors into the system for temporary access. The fingerprint lock also has an additional keypad for digital code entry if preferred, battery warning signal or a key override.
